Lance Board LLC reserves the right to refuse to post, alter or remove any project, bid, or other transmitted information.  Lance Board LLC may exercise this right without any advance notice to the individual submitting their bid or project.

Lance Board LLC acts as a "middle-man" between the Services Buyer and the Services Seller.  It is in its best interest to attempt to make sure that every transaction proceeds smoothly, and to the mutual satisfaction of both parties involved. 

However, in the event that an irresolvable dispute arises as a result of a transaction, both Services Buyer, and Services Seller agree that as a "middle-man", Lance Board LLC is completely harmless and not liable in any way for said dispute.  

As the purpose of Lance Board is to facilitate financial transactions via the web site, Services Buyers, and Services Sellers who post projects or bids that go against this purpose will have their postings deleted and their Lance Board accounts terminated. This includes, but is not limited to, projects asking for 'pro-bono' work, work in exchange for a commission/percentage of sales of a product, or a swap for non-cash compensation. It also includes bids where the Services Seller offers to do the work or provide a solution 'pro-bono'.

Those who choose to access this web site are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. Information available on this web site and transactions occurring as a result of your use of the site may be subject to U.S. Export Control Laws and/or other applicable export and import laws. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable export/import laws, regulations, taxes, licenses and fees.

Members agree not to post any contact details on the site, except in the "e-mail" field of the signup form, or when asked by Lance Board at any other time. The Lance Board message board should be sufficient for pre-project planning and when a project is assigned the contact details of both parties will be available. This applies to e-mail addresses and to all methods of communication, including links with contact details, phone, messengers, or any other method of contact outside of this site. Also it is strongly recommend to not deal with any projects details outside of the site because these details will not be considered into an eventual mediation/arbitration and Lance Board will not be able to protect the user from any fraud.

In order to protect the legal rights and recourse of both Services Buyers and Services Sellers, all users of the site affirm that they are legal adults, able to enter into contracts and at least 18 years of age. Persons not meeting this requirement are not allowed to post projects or bids.

Lance Board reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time. It is the member's responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions from time to time for such changes. In the event Lance Board offers any additional or replacement services then this agreement shall apply to such services in the absence of any new agreement specific to such services which is entered into between the parties.

Lance Board LLC reserves the right to change, and or delete user public content and or private communications sent through the Lance Board systems. Additionally, it may refuse service and/or block any user who does not adhere to these rules, or for any other reason for which Lance Board LLC deems prudent. Additionally, legal action may be pursued at Lance Board's discretion. Lance Board LLC may take this action without prior notice or explanation to the user.

Automated bots

Automated bots cause stress on the site servers and when proper precautions are not in place, can prevent legitimate "real" users from accessing the site. You may NOT create any automated bot to access the Lance Board without first notifying Lance Board LLC and receiving expressed written approval for it's design. If Lance Board LLC approves your bot's design, then you must adhere to the specifications that Lance Board LLC approves. Lance Board LLC reserves the right to revoke permission previously granted, and you agree that if so revoked you will immediately cease use of the bot and take all available actions to prevent other users of the bot from using it as well.

Privacy Statement

Lance Board LLC believes strongly in protecting our users' personal privacy at all times. Please note that Lance Board uses the best of its ability to protect all data from external and unauthorized party access by the use of (but not limited to) firewalls, encryption and 3rd party security consultants. Additionally it also uses the best of its ability to protect site users from viruses via virus scanning software. However no security system and/or virus system is 100% secure or 100% effective. Should sensitive data be confirmed as compromised, or a virus discovered on an Lance Board system, Lance Board will alert the affected User via email (to the address registered on the site). However, due to the nature of security and viruses, Lance Board strongly advises the User to take their own security precautions, such as personal virus scanning software, and/or encrypting sensitive communications. Given the nature of these matters, should a security compromise or virus incident occur, User agrees that Lance Board is not liable for the incident (in any way, shape or form) nor for any repercussions of such an incident (in any way, shape or form).
